We also had issues with the smart features of the device, namely its mapping feature and digital stay-out zones. It was good at keeping our furniture legs and shoes away, but it was easily hanging up on socks, cables, and rug. We didn't include the Scout RX3 in our Best Buy list. Still, with a decent price and impressive performance, the Scout RX3 is worth considering in the event you're looking to find an alternative to traditional uprights.
